Pricing detail
Power users and end users.
Power users operate business processes and participate in the organization structure. End users sign in and use authorized data operations without that access. The distinction is based on access, not how often a person uses your application.
Back to pricingUnlimited means no per-user charge or identity limit. End-user activity still uses the workspace’s API, database, file, and transfer capacity, and remains subject to authorization and the Terms of Service.
What an end user can do
An end user can authenticate and perform the full set of create, read, update, and delete operations that the application authorizes for that identity. Property-level and row-level permissions continue to apply to every operation.
What an end user cannot do
| Functions | Run or invoke workspace functions. |
|---|---|
| Workflows | Start, run, or otherwise execute workflows. |
| Organization structure | Hold a position or belong to a department, group, role, or other part of the organization schema. |
| Workflow tasks | Receive or be assigned a workflow task. |
What is a power user?
An identity that participates in the organization structure, receives workflow tasks, or operates functions or workflows is a power user and counts toward the workspace’s included or additional power users. This is the workforce identity category used for pricing. It can include a customer who needs these capabilities, not only an employee. Power-user status does not grant administrator access; the identity’s permissions still apply.
A separately governed customer organization is not an end-user identity and is priced by agreement.
Building a complex SaaS product?
If your end customers need to run functions, participate in workflows, or receive workflow tasks, include them in your power-user estimate. Request volume pricing based on the scale and operating model of your product.
Why the distinction exists
The plan includes power users and backend capacity. End-user identities carry no separate charge, but their requests and stored data consume that capacity. Adding power users increases the included allowance; it does not remove the need to size the workspace for your application’s traffic.
